Welcome to Ms.Raymond's 6th Grade Math Page
Welcome to 6th grade math! I know that we are going to have lots of fun and learn SO much great math this year. We will be studying, among other topics, sets, dimensional analysis, probability, geometry, ratios, proportions, percents, and integers. There will be interesting activities, and one of the highlights will be designing casino games in November and December.
You will need to bring your math book, your notes, and a pencil to class every day (and we do have math every day - how lucky!). I’ll distribute planners with homework assignments in class, but you can also check this webpage as needed. If you are absent, it’s a good idea to check with a classmate for any changes; sometimes we get sidetracked by an interesting question or get carried away with a topic and have to adjust the plan.
Don’t worry, but do give this your best effort and let’s always have fun!
